HM Submarines

Hello out there! any British submariners reading this please give me a call. I served in boats from 1959 to 1966, there is a complete list of boats and dates on my website www.irishroversbooks.com

In the photo – Alcide is outboard of Auriga alongside in Halifax NS Canada circa 1964. The bridge in the background is the Angus L MacDonald Bridge linking Halifax and Dartmouth.

Fred, enjoy your blog, I was RCN aircrew and a paratrooper, what goes up usually always comes down, I would never go in a submarine, what goes down doesn’t necessarily have to come up. Went to Belfast on the “Bonnie” in 1969???? Had a great week. I have a bit of navy stuff on
